The Mom Club is a community of women coming together in meaningful, fun, and supportive ways—through monthly gatherings, girls’ nights, and casual playdates. Our goal is to create space for real connection— to deepen friendships, encourage vulnerability, and offer genuine support to one another.
We meet monthly to hear from inspiring speakers on topics that matter to us as moms & women. We also enjoy kid-free nights to relax, laugh, and simply enjoy each other’s company. And of course, we make time to gather with our kids so they can build community too.
-
You should join the Mom Club because everyone deserves to feel a sense of belonging. Meaningful female friendships are a vital part of women’s mental and emotional well-being. When you open yourself up to real connection, it can truly enrich your life. Motherhood becomes lighter, more joyful, and far more manageable when you’re surrounded by women who support you and whose company you genuinely enjoy.

We made the decision to part ways with Mom Co. primarily because we had already begun developing our own topics and content. Our preference for featuring guest speakers meant that the purchased curriculum was rarely utilized. By stepping away, we are also able to reduce membership dues since we are no longer responsible for individual Mom Co. memberships and curriculum materials. Most importantly, this transition has allowed us the freedom to operate independently, introducing new ideas and opportunities that genuinely reflect the vision and values of our group.
-
To some extent, yes, as meetings and playdates occur during the day. However, we have plenty of working moms in our group with flexible schedules, part-time roles, or remote jobs that allow them the flexibility to join meetings and sometimes playdates!
-
The base price goes to a fully catered breakfast spread each meeting, speaker costs, tableware, supplies for any activities and miscellaneous items that we need to run The Mom Club.
The entirety of the additional fees for registered children goes directly to paying our childcare workers a fair wage.
The Mom Club is a non-profit & everyone on the leadership team are unpaid volunteers.
-
Each year we offer a limited number of scholarships provided by leadership fundraising. Scholarships will cover 80% of your total dues.
Scholarships will not be given two consecutive years in a row.
-
No, all beliefs & religions are accepted and welcomed.
-
While there’s no limit on spots for moms, our childcare spaces do have limited capacity. If you’ll need childcare during our meetings, we recommend registering early to secure your child’s spot!
-
Meetings start in September and run parallel to the school year, ending in May. There are 8 meetings total.
-
Attending meetings is how real, genuine connections are made. When you're present, you give others the chance to get to know you and you get to know them. Community can’t grow or deepen without shared time together. These gatherings also offer a rare opportunity for open, honest, and meaningful conversations in a safe and supportive space.
-
We meet at East River Fellowship Church every 2nd Friday of the month from September to May, from 9-11am.
-
We don’t offer trial visits for our regular meetings, but we host park play dates throughout the Summer to give moms a chance to meet us and get a feel for the group before committing to the year. These playdates are open to everyone and are a great way to see if The Mom Club is the right fit for you. The full summer playdate schedule will be shared when registration opens.
-
Kindly, no—we encourage all members to attend as many meetings as possible to fully engage with our community. This is the only way for everyone to experience the full extent of meaningful connection that The Mom Club has to offer.
-
This year, we’re excited to bring back playdates! Similar to our Mom’s Nights playdates will be a monthly chance for moms in The Mom Club to get together with their kids and enjoy some quality time together. It’s a great way for your little ones to build meaningful connections too. Most playdates will take place at local parks, but occasionally we’ll visit indoor venues like OMSI or Play Street Museum - these special outings may have a small additional cost.
-
Yes, babies under one year old are welcome to stay with you during the meeting. If your little one gets fussy or becomes a distraction, we kindly ask that you step into the hallway until they settle to be respectful of our speakers and fellow moms. Children over one year old must be registered in our childcare to attend meetings.
-
Your little ones will be lovingly cared for by our amazing team of experienced, background-checked women. While you're enjoying your time, they’ll be busy having fun playing games, hearing story time, having a snack, and making sweet little friendships of their own!
Our incredible Kids Club Coordinator, Lexie, plans a special seasonal craft for each meeting that your child will go home with. When the weather’s nice, toddlers and preschoolers get to head outside for a bit of recess and fresh air!
-
When you register your child for childcare, you’ll be asked to provide information about any allergies they have. We do our best to accommodate these by offering allergen-free snacks and taking extra precautions as needed. However, please note that we cannot store or administer an EpiPen. If your child requires an EpiPen, you will need to keep it with you during the meeting. Fortunately, the childcare rooms are very close by, and you can reach them in less than 10 seconds in the event they need you.
-
You would not register your child for childcare during meetings if they are already in daycare during our meeting times or if they attend school full time.
-
We encourage moms to sign up as soon as they find out they’re expecting. There’s no better time to connect with a community of other moms!
